Snorkelling For All

The ability to swim and enthusiasm are the only requirements needed for people of all ages to enjoy snorkelling. Requiring neither expensive equipment nor hours of training, snorkelling is an ideal way to enjoy gentle exercise while admiring the beauties of the marine world.
Below are details of how to take your first steps to becoming a confident snorkeller.
Course Contents:
1 x 1hrs Theory lesson ( 7.30 - 8.30pm ) Tuesday only
3 x 1hrs Pool lessons ( 9.00 - 10.00pm ) Tuesday only
Objective:
To acquire basic snorkelling skills using Mask Fins & Snorkel (basic diving equipment). Learn what to look for when buying your own basic equipment, good practices and safety advice.
Requirements:
Able to swim 50mts freestyle ( 2 lengths of the Meadowside pool ( Burton Leisure Centre)
Complete a Medical Fitness Declaration ( signed by parent/guardian if under 18 yrs
£10.00 course fee, which includes use of clubs basic equipment..

Snorkel Course's : Course's will be held at the Pingle School pool on Friday nights 7.30 / 8.30pm due to the meadowside centre shutting for refurbishment.
