If your new to Scuba then we can help you work towards gaining your Ocean Diver  certification, the first step of
BSAC diving qualifications.

Your initial scuba diving training will take place in the controlled safety of a swimming pool, learning how to :
assemble and maintain the scuba unit. How to control your buoyancy so that you can 'hover' in mid water and how
to retrieve & clear a regulator as well as clearing a flooded mask. You will also learn rescue skills which is a
essential safety skill.
 
There will be 7 theory lessons,  a theory assessment, a minimum of 6 one hour pool sessions, 6 open water
lessons/dives at Stoney Cove.

The club has 5 full sets of Scuba Units for Ocean diver trainees to use.

Once Ocean Diver Status is reached you can then proceed to gain the next levels of diver grades :
Sports Diver, Dive Leader & Advanced Diver.

BSAC Membership   £ 52.00  which includes 12 months magazine and third party insurance.
Branch Membership  £ 150.00 ( 1st year then currently £130.00 there after.
(You can get as much training as you can take within the year)

The club has its own 6 metre rib and its own compressor  to fill up all cylinders.
